My experience shopping with Instacart

So years ago I had heard about an app called Instacart but unfortunately they did not deliver in my area. Well I got a recent email that they now delivered in my area and that they now use Wegmans. Everyone that knows me, knows I am obsessed with Wegmans.

So I decided today to give them a try! The first delivery is free. We had gone food shopping last night but we had missed a few items so I downloaded their app and added those items to my cart. I found the app easy to navigate and set up.

I placed my order and they were able to deliver within the hour! I thought that was amazing! I set up a specific time and they delivered right on time!

I got updates on my phone of when my food was being shopped for and when it was on its way.

Everything I ordered was there and the driver followed the delivery directions perfectly!

After the first delivery, Instacart delivery costs start at $3.99 for a two hour delivery with a $35 purchase or more. Or $7.99 if the order is under $35. If you want to enjoy this delivery fee for free all year, you an pay $149 annually. Similar to how Amazon Prime works! You also have the option of paying it monthly if you prefer.

I am seriously considering their annual membership, until then... I just wanted to share that I highly recommend this service. This is not an ad, this post represents my own opinion. You should definitely try it for yourself!
