So the new thing I'm into that I swear by is Batch Cooking AKA Meal Prep Sunday! Its so awesome for all working moms out there that are running low on time. All you need is some planning and a few hours a week to get it done.

First you gotta plan your meals and if you are anything like me, that might be the most difficult part. I honestly eat based on what I'm craving that particular day and I easily get tired of repeats. So the way I have figured this out is something I'm calling loose planning. Not sure if that is a thing ha ha ha.
I don't plan it to the last ingredient, I sort of give myself an idea of what I'm going for primarily based on the meat I'm cooking. I have found it the easiest to cook a whole 10-15lbs turkey, or a few pounds of ground beef or a whole chicken.
Using the turkey as an example, once its all done, I have my husband chop it up into pieces. I divide the meat into multiple containers. Each should have enough for dinner for one evening. For example, each container should have enough for the 3 of us to eat for lunch or dinner. From a turkey, I usually get enough meat for 4-5 days. You gotta make sure the meat is room temperature before sealing the container and putting it in the freezer.
I mostly have done my research on this topic on Pinterest, there is a lot of information on freezing cooked food, batch cooking, or you can also look it up under Sunday meal prep (most people do this on Sundays).
For the rest of the week we have eaten turkey burritos, turkey with veggies, turkey with rice, among other things. Pinterest is also a good resource for recipes to avoid getting tired of the same meat. You can also cook a chicken and switch it up. (Thats what I do!) I cook my chicken in our crockpot, I have the one below in the color red:
So today, we defrosted one of the containers with turkey and we are planning on making some veggies to go with it. The benefit of this is that, cooking dinner tonight was super easy and took barely any time at all.
Personally, that extra time I now have, I use to make smoothies... win win!
